Any player who has played on a college roster (JUCO, NAIA, NCAA) or has completed college coursework after high school is NOT eligible to play in this event.
This is a 2027 roster event. All players must be age eligible August 31, 2026.
PROTESTS: This event is a NO PROTEST event.
All rule interpretations will be interpreted using COMMON SENSE, the spirit or intent of the rule as written by the governing body or TCS specialty rule.

- 14u – Teams can win a PAID entry into Power Pools for the 2027 Colorado 4th of July in Colorado for winner of Super 72 14u Division. The paid entry is nontransferable to another team or age division. The entry is also nontransferable to another event and no "refund" of any kind if the entry is not used for the team that wins the 14u Division.
- 16u – Teams can win a PAID entry into Power Pools for the 2027 Colorado 4th of July in Colorado for winner of Super 72 16u Division. The paid entry is nontransferable to another team or age division. The entry is also nontransferable to another event and no "refund" of any kind if the entry is not used for the team that wins the 16u Division.
- 18u – Teams can win a PAID entry into Power Pools for the 2027 Colorado 4th of July in Colorado for winner of Super 72 18u Division. The paid entry is nontransferable to another team or age division. The entry is also nontransferable to another event and no "refund" of any kind if the entry is not used for the team that wins the 18u Division.
LINEUP MODIFICATIONS:
Any option listed below may be used:
Option 1: Straight nine- Those nine can play any position on defense without reporting to the umpire.
Option 2: DP/Flex- 10 players are listed on the line-up, but only 9 bat. The DP can bat for any player that you designate prior to the start of the game. That player is designated as the Flex and should be listed in the 10th spot on the line-up card. Any of the 10 players can play on defense.
Option 3: EH/EP- This gives you the option to bat 10 players and any 9 can play defense. This player can be placed anywhere in the line-up.
Option 4: DP/Flex and the EP/EH- This allows you to have 11 players listed on the lineup, only 10will bat any 9 of these players can play defensively. The Flex is listed at the bottom of the lineup.
Courtesy Runner: We will be using the written NFHS courtesy runner rule, which states the courtesy runner must be an eligible sub that has not been in the game at any capacity.

- All ages: 1hr 30min games, finish the inning. Run rules apply for all Championship games.
- Run rule applied for all age divisions: 10 runs after 3 innings, 8 runs after 4 innings and 6 runs after 5 innings.
- Pool Play games can end in a tie.
- Tied games in Bracket, ITB will put a runner on second.
- Pool Play games are not free subs and not bat your lineup.
- Triple Crown allows an EH, a DP Flex or both an EH/DP Flex on lineups. If you have any questions about the EH/DP Flex please ask the umpires working your game or the Triple Crown Site Director.
- Game balls will be provided.
- No college players on any roster.
- Please have something on hand to verify players age. This can be copies of birth certificates, USA cards, PGF cards or anything with proof of players age.
- Teams must have a signed and completed online roster, updated team insurance and reported lodging. All three items must be completed before the first game is played.
- Home and Away dugouts are not predetermined.
- Coin Flip will determine Home and Away teams for all pool play games and bracket play games. This includes championship games.

IMPORTANT:
1. Maximum Run Spread per game is 7, regardless of score
2. Forfeits will be scored 7-0
Rosters:
Players may only play on one roster during the event.
A full team roster with completed signatures must be uploaded to your Triple Crown Sports account prior to the start of the event. Each player must also have a valid up-to-date signed waiver on file before they step onto a field.
Ineligible players will be removed at the time of discovery and suspended for the remainder of the tournament.
Ejections:
Coaches, players and/or spectators who have been asked to leave the game must immediately depart the field and go to the parking lot. The ejected individual then must sit out the following game and UP TO one year at Triple Crown Sports discretion. Should an ejected coach/spectator not comply and begin to verbally/physically contest the ejection, the site director has the right to forfeit the game.
Scorecards:
Umpires will be responsible for the scorecards of each game. Coaches must sign the scorecard at the end of each game to ensure the score is correct before the umpire turns the scorecard into the designated TC site director. If the scorecard is turned in with or without a signature and the score is incorrect, the score will be inputted as is.
