FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With the increasing interest and visibility of women’s professional softball gaining traction around the nation, Triple Crown Sports has announced the debut of the TC Colorado Pro Cup, a tournament held in conjunction with its massive Colorado 4th of July youth event in the summer of 2025.
The TC Colorado Pro Cup will feature three teams – New York Rise, OKC Spark and Florida Vibe – that play as independent squads within the Association of Fastpitch Professionals. Along with the TC Colorado team which features a roster of current NCAA D-I players, the four organizations will compete in round-robin pool play beginning June 30 at the Barnes Softball Complex in Loveland, Colo., during Festival Night for the Sparkler Juniors portion of the event.
Pool play continues July 1 at the two fields located at the Triple Crown Sports corporate home in Fort Collins. Bracket play then moves to Festival Night at the Christopher Fields Complex in Westminster, Colo., on July 2, with the TC Colorado Pro Cup championship game and third-place game scheduled for the Aurora Sports Complex on July 3, which has another Festival Night environment that draws thousands of fans of the sport.
This new event is yet another piece of the remarkable programming found in and around the Colorado 4th of July tournament, which welcomes about 1,300 youth fastpitch teams from ages 12u through 18u to Colorado’s Front Range. Other impact moments ahead of the TC Colorado Pro Cup include the P5 Patriot Games (June 26-28), which attract the nation’s top club programs to Fort Collins for a five-game format that will be monitored closely by college recruiters, and also the International Challenge (June 27-29), a wildly popular tournament at the Christopher Complex where athletes celebrate their heritage by playing for national teams in the 16u and 18u divisions.
More details about the TC Colorado Pro Cup will be release in the next few weeks, including matchups, times and more information about the players and coaches driving the growth of softball into the professional and post-collegiate arenas.
